When I woke up that Tuesday morning, it was, to all intents and purposes, an ordinary day. Except of course, It wasn’t. Continue reading “This must be the place.”
I love Jack Reacher. Fact. When the world is a sad, bad, scary place, I feel reassured just knowing that he can come along and kick some ass for me.
Solid, dependable, and analytical to a flaw; there’s still light at the end of the tunnel as long as Jack Reacher walks this earth. Jack Reacher might just be my spirit animal. Today I am off to the football. Not the biggest fan of team sports in general, and having missed the last 7 or so matches, it has been not-so-subtlety suggested that this morning I get my ass in gear, and spend the day with my father at the game. Coat and gloves on, I head out early so we can grab a hearty breakfast before making our way to Old Trafford. Continue reading “Smells like team spirit”
So it’s not quite 5pm here in Spain and I’m somehow several vino tintos down and have joined an impromptu singing session, despite my companions being several decades my senior, and me unable to converse in their shared tongue.
Let’s rewind a little and see how I ended up in this-really rather glorious-situation. Continue reading “The Golden Age”
